The Brass Band of Central Illinois actively promotes the brass band tradition and increases cultural awareness through local and regional performances within Central Illinois.

The band was formed in 2004 and is based in Bloomington-Normal, Illinois. It is comprised of approximately 30 volunteer musicians from Central Illinois who are attracted to the band for its unique sound, instrumentation, and music. The Brass Band of Central Illinois is under the musical direction of Dr. Sharon Huff, Professor of Music at Millikin University.

The band performs four regular concerts each year. All concerts are open to the public, with no admission charge.
